Refund policy

Returns, Changes & Cancellations

Each Louise Salaun piece is handcrafted in small batches in the UK.
Please consider your purchase carefully before placing your order — every item requires time, materials, and care to create.

Eligibility

Returns are accepted for in-stock items only, within 14 days of receiving your order.
Returned items must be unworn, in their original condition and packaging, with proof of purchase.
Made-to-order, resized, or customised pieces are final sale and cannot be returned or exchanged.

To request a return, email hello@louisesalaun.com within 14 days of delivery.
Approved returns must be shipped back within 5 business days of receiving return instructions.
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.

Cancellations

Orders can be cancelled within 48 hours of placement for a full refund.
After 48 hours, production begins and cancellations are no longer possible for made-to-order pieces.

Lead Times

Most pieces are made to order, with a standard lead time of 3–6 weeks from the date of purchase.
In-stock items ship within 3 business days.
When your order is dispatched, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking details.

Repairs & Resizing

If your piece arrives damaged, or you need a small adjustment, please contact hello@louisesalaun.com within 7 days of receiving your order.
I can usually repair or resize items; a small studio fee may apply depending on the work required.

Refunds

Once your return is received and approved, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Please allow additional time for your bank or payment provider to process the transaction.

International Orders

International customers are responsible for return shipping and any import duties or taxes.
Please mark all returns as “Returned Goods” to avoid additional customs charges.

Packaging & Sustainability

Every order is shipped in biodegradable mycelium packaging with a reusable fabric pouch for safekeeping.
Each piece is made and finished by hand — we encourage thoughtful purchasing to reduce unnecessary production and shipping.
